I bought a car over a month ago from Frank Myers....I spent the whole day there working to get my deal put together, and was a huge mess.....I've sold cars before and thought that it was a mess but gave them the benefit of the doubt because my salesman told me he was new and I could see that he was really trying hard.....on first appearances you'd think that this place really cares about the customers, but that all changes after they get your money....My car broke down 2 weeks after I got it and when I called to let them know what was going on, I got the runaround until they finally put me through to service.

I explained my situation and was told that my warranty did not cover towing expenses and I needed to get it up there on my own, which really rubbed me the wrong way, because like I said I'd only had the car two weeks...shortly after taking my car up for repairs I began getting calls from Frank Myers , being told that they needed more paperwork from to finish my deal......(Really? Two weeks later?) This was my second red flag, I told them I was working and would FAX the paperwork the following day from my other job, which I did....I received a FAX confirmation, which I now wish I had kept, so I figured that all was well....around three days after sending the FAX,

I get a call notifying me that they had not got my papers and without them my deal was incomplete and was threatened by being told if I did not hurry and get it to them my car was going to be taken, so I faxed it one more time...the following Monday, I made car payment to my lien holder and brought these issues up to them. I was told that they had requested some additional info and had not received it....during this conversation it was made abundantly clear that Frank Myers Automaxx lacked organizational skills and that I wasn't the first person this happened with. I was then told that they had still did not have the documents they needed, after two faxes...really?!?!?!

So the next day I sent the paperwork directly to the finance company. I would've done it that day but I was very busy and didn't have a chance.. Any who let's get to a week later, my thirty day tag expired, so I called to ask about my permanent tags and was.told they still weren't there and that they still needed paperwork from me, which they didn't.....I've called every day now for almost a week and everyday they tell me they will call me back and that someone is on the way to get my tags.....still no tags, still getting the runaround and being treated as though my situation doesn't matter.

My name is Tracy Myers and I am the owner of Frank Myers Auto Maxx. Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. I wasn't aware of your review until tonight. After reading about your transaction, I certainly won't make excuses. I'll simply say "I'm Sorry". Growing pains caused us a few opportunities to overcome with organizational skills around the time that you purchases your vehicle. We were made aware of it by several people and took the steps necessary to correct it.

With that being said, I want you to know that you are important to my Team and I. If you ever need me, please call me direct at #3368310646. I'm here to help.

As a side note, you should not have paid for the tow to the dealership. I'll gladly reimburse you for that if you'll let me.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Tracy Myers

Thank you! For sharing your experiance with Frank Myers Auto Maxx, I was thinking about going up to Winston to trade in my Van with this dearlership (because I hate being with Drive Time- the Biggest RipOff Company of all times!!).  I do not desire to go from the frying pan into a flame of fire.  Guess I will just keep searching.

Thanks again for sharing!

I too have been taken for a ride by Frank Myers Auto Maxx in Winston-Salem, NC.  I am still fighting these people to have repairs done to my car.
