I see where someone name Maria from Freedom Movers has responded over 5 months later with all lies. If there never was a dresser why did Freedom Movers offer a settlement of $112 for the dresser (that amount was derived by taking the amount of pounds that they said the dresser was since they said that legally they weren't responsible for replacement value). That was an insult since I paid $500 for the dresser. And it's funny that they claim that there was no dresser but they delivered the mirror that the dresser was attached to. I just hope that anyone who reads this sees the level of unprofessionalism exemplified by this company and its personnel and never does business with them. They did not pick up on the scheduled date, they requested to pick up the next day, I agreed, they did not show up that day, then they came after I had to return to TN, I had someone meet them. They picked up. Then the delivery person brought my furniture to TN, then took it back to Atlanta, then the supervisor called to say THEIR mistake, and then delivered without the dresser. So I don't know where she gets the three attempts to me but that's false. Maria, get your facts together, you are not helping your company step out of the mess that it created, you have added to the drama. Let it go, I had. You would have been better off not responding if that's all you had to say.

in regards to this complaint, Mr. Eric G. moved from GA to TN. After reviewing his file and reading every detail of the item list that was written by our drivers on the day of pick up, THERE NEVER WAS A DRESSER THAT WAS PICKED UP ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE. We tried to reach mr. G several time via emails and phone calls, unfortuanetly with no luck. When Mr. G was ready to accept shipment, A delivery schedule was set up for him, unfortuanetly, WE TRIED TO DELIVERY THIS HOUSEGOOD GOOD THREE (3) TIMES, WITH NO LUCK due to Mr. G's working schedule. We agreed that we would try and accomnadate his work schedule and set up the delivery for either every early in the morning or after working hours in the evening. By the company policy there are charges for Long carry and flight of stairs, IF THEY ARE APPLICABLE UPON PICK UP OR DELIVERY. Customer was aware of these charges, as he agreed to them by signing an order for service with all this information written very clear on it. Furthermore, as stated above, we tried several times to delivery him, as per company policy, there should have been a RE-delivery charge for his delivery, but as you can see, WE DID NOT CHARGE HIM ANY REDELIVERY FEE. Please be aware that that customer signed and accepted the agreement for understanding the terms and conditions of his move. Thank you Management
