Fresh Chocodiles No product and no reply! Palo Alto, California Internet
I ordered 10 fruit pies from this site on 8/29. Pretty simple? I mean, that is what they do. Once I put my order in--it said something like "Thank you, you're order will be bakery fresh for shipping on Tuesday". I paid via Paypal, and of course got a receipt from them, but never any type of confirmation from the website.
So, the following Tuesday came and went and I decided to e-mail them through their site just to check for a confirmation and to check if my order was indeed shipped. These pies were a gift for my Uncle who moved from CA years ago, and misses these snacks immensely. I received no reply. So, the next day I decided to google them to see if I could find an actual e-mail address, and that is when I saw all the complaints against this company. Then, I got really worried.
I found 3 different emails that had been attributed to the site. I sent messages to all of them and have also contacted them through their site everyday begging them for some kind of response. Nothing.
My guess is they hope that since it is a small amount of money, the person will just go away---who knows. The odd thing is, I have seen this site around for awhile. How the heck are they still open? All I asked for was a response. Has it shipped? When will it ship? Did you receive me order? I told them it was for a family member (the party is tomorrow) and, in the very least, I would like to be able at least tell him they would be here at some point. But, no. Not one response to....probably 10 emails total.

Yes, they already have a F rating on BBB. How are they still open? I mean, I got limited by Paypal for some really dumb things? How are they still able to use Paypal? I have sent--probably 30 emails over 3 weeks and have gotten exactly ZERO responses. I have tried 3 different emails and contacted them through the site.

I'm sorry you got scammed to. I got an email admitting they never sent my items and just wait it out with paypal! WHAT! Then told to wait 24 hours for a refund? Through paypal it takes minutes only. You should file a complaint with paypal if you paid that way, then file with your local police or on that government site ic3.gov or whatever to file a tip for internet crime. Maybe it will help. The bbb isnt going to care on this company they don't even have thier info although the law enforcement can get it from their ip. They are really taking people for a ride!

I've reported to the internet fraud tipline, you may wish to do the same. A strong report history will help them build a significant case. It is in cooperation with the FBI and for internet fraud- ic3.gov just fill out a form, they ask general information and I bet they will do something. These people can't get away with this! Scamming!
