On January 9, 2003, I entered into an agreement with Century 21, Resort Mart Real Estate - 14622 Highway 13, Branson Mo. 65737 (1 800 489 4164) who is somehow affiliatted with Timeshare FSBO, 7041 Grand National Dr. Suite 120, Orlando FL 32811.

A woman on the phone identified herself as Susan Rawley and agreed to market a time share program which we own. She was to send me a copy of the listing and inform me of any and all offers on the listing.

In good faith, I paid $ 639. using a credit card. I did not receive the promised copy of the "listing".

Somewhat later, I received a letter from Royal Aloha, another time share which we own, warning that we should be wary of any companies promising to list/sell a time share. Many of them were scams or phony/ineffective operators.

I immediately phoned Century 12 to get a copy of the promised listing to get samples of the listing. I was unable to get an answer from the 800 number which I was given. No Susan Rawley, no Century 21, no nothing.

On Wednesday March 12, I was phoned by a lady named Donna. She informed me that the Century 21 operation was fraudulent.

I was informed that it was a Scam where unsuspecting owners were solicited for time share listings and nothing was done after receiving the money. She said that she was a former employee who had been fired for exposing the scam. She gave me her phone number plus a (1 800 489 4414) number which did reach Century 21.

When I phoned (1 800 489 4414) I spoke with a Gina in "Customer Service" I told her that I had learned that the operation was a scam and demanded my money back. After much hemming and hawing she gave me a phone number where I would supposedly get satisfaction.

I dialed the number (1 800 392 8222) and got a recording that the number was unavailable.

Since that date, I have made 10 - 12 calls to Century 21, leaving my name and phone number with the recording. None of the calls were returned.

If Century 21 is a legitimate business, why am I getting the run around? Why was I given a non working 800 number? Why do they refuse to return my calls?

Their refusal to try to work with me forces me to believe that they are indeed running a Fraudulent operation.

I recently received a flyer in the mail from Century 21 Resort Mart Real Estate. Since we are currently involved in an ongoing contact dispute with Westgate Lakes, selling the timeshae has become an option. I have learned to check Rip-off Report.com before dealing with any company. Thank you for your post. Looks like I avoided dealing with another company with questionable business practices.
