Signed up with Funded.com and immediately it does not seem right. They absolutely utterly waste your time providing personal information only to constantly pressure you to pay to upgrade to get any real results. Then things REALLY went sour when I realized I could NOT UPDATE MY PROFILE OR DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!!
MAJOR. RED. FLAG.
Any business that operates this way has sinister plans and motives. Believe me this is not standard practice. As a matter of fact the only other crooked company I can think of that does this is Kabbage.
I sent an email immediately requesting my account be removed and got no response back. Instead they sent me an email days later saying my account has been registered. Unbelievable.
No other option left to remove my information easily from these thieves I was forced to call in. The rep states yes you cannot update or delete your information only we can. I asked don't you think you should state that upfront that we will not have control over our own freaking personal information after providing it to you? She says in order to remove it she has to send an email over to the ID department and request it!!!
Do you understand? THEY HAVE TO GET PERMISSION FROM THEIR SUPERIORS IN ORDER TO REMOVE Y O U R INFORMATION.
I'm filing a complant with the BBB next. If we don't stand up together against companies that abuse our personal information one day this will be the new standard. Never ever accept these kinds of intrusive abusive companies.
