Garden State Limosuine ripoff, possible scam artists, dishonest liars Hackensack New Jersey
my daughter booked a limo through this "company" for her prom. she was sent a booking number and told she would not need to send payment, they would run her credit card when the limo arrived.
the day before prom i called to confirm gave the booking number and was told "your daughter cancelled the limo" and was hung up on. i called back to try to resolve the matter and was screamed and cursed at by the same person, who i truely believe must be certifiably insane!
my daughter checked her e-mail and found the confirmation for the limo rental dated may 21, 2005. and yes, the limo was cancelled but not by my daughter, by GARDEN STATE LIMO in an e-mail they sent to her on may 28, 2005, stating "sorry have no limo for that date" after it was booked.
i contacted consumer affairs, unfortunatly they cannot do anything to them because they did not take the money and not provide the service, but that is not the point, my daughter had no limo for her prom. actually through connections we did manage to get a limo for her and her friends on short notice.
i have heard since from contacts in the limo buisness that garden state limo has the worst reputation around. please steer clear of these scam artists and save yourself alot of headaches.
