GE Capital, Eric Johnson, Daniel Johnson Fraudulent e-mails were sent. Representing themselves as working for this company. Sumter South Carolina
Eric Johnson contacted me by phone claiming to be employed by GE Capital. I declined the loan offer , something struck me as wrong. Having told them I was NOT interested in a loan,I got an e-mail 24hrs later from Eric Johnson, giving me a loan number , the approved amount and the payment. I called the number provided it went to voicemail and the voice was NOT american. I expanded the e-mail address and noticed it was an outlook address not a company address. I went to ripoff website and discovered the scam. I notified the FTC and contacted GE via their legitimate phone number. Not sure if there is anything to report to local Police since I didn't actually lose anything. To those who have been ripped off by this person, you have my sympathies. It looks legitimate until you expand the e-mail address. I wish you well in your endeavours to retrieve your money.
