Generalhosting.comgeneral Hosting stole money from my bank account and is now reported to the authorities New York Internet
THEY WILL STEAL MONEY FROM YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT AND BE JUSTIFIED.
I signed up for a new account with General Hosting using my debit/credit card and paid them $285.00 in May of 2009. This card was a new bank card that I had just got from my bank.
Three weeks later they took another $190.80 out of my account.
They accessed my new account along with the credit card information provided and took an additional $190.80 and said the it was the renewal of the old account from another business years ago. There is no past account with General Hosting that is connected to my new web site and business name or credit card information. They seem to just have matched up my name with some old account. I have sent many emails and told them that it was not right to steal my money. I even sent an email to them saying "do you think that you can just take money out of my account any time that you want to" Their reply was "Thats correct" That was the only words in their email response. It has been three months and they have not given me my money back. They do not respond to my emails and are very rude. There is no billing department to talk to personally.
I currently have a two year account with them and am unfortunately stuck. It is paid for as per the agreement of $285.00.
DO NOT GIVE GENERAL HOSTING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AS THEY WILL STEAL MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.
IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR CARD RIGHT AFTER USING IT.
I HAVE REPORTED IT TO THE BANK AND THE AUTHORITIES AND AM HOPING THAT GENERAL HOSTING WILL BE PUT IN A POSITION TO GIVE ME MY $190.80 BACK. I feel violated and will post this complaint every place that I can.
Feel free to cut and past this posting to any other complaint site and the authorities any time you wish. I am an investigator who was ripped off by them
