Mr. Robert Hoffmeyer is using his position of President to SLANDER German Shorthair Breeders that he has no personal knowledge of. After an hour phone call Mr. Hoffmeyer confirmed that he has been telling poeple not to buy dogs from breeders he is asked about and then he refers them to friends, judges that he employees and to poople he likes.
Mr. Hoffmeyer should be impeached from his postion since he is using his authority to SLANDER, and abusivly talk about people he has no personal knowledge of. IN FACT is his own words:
"I don't know you" I just told the persons calling for advice " I would NOT buy a dog from him" " I have heard NO GOOD things"
In itself telling someone to buy dogs here or there is not a crime but it is a great deal of misusing ones authoriey. Also in his own words he stated that he did not know the kennel, in fact he said "I never heard of the kennel" He then usud the words "I have never heard anything good"
I very tricky way of bad mouthing a potential kennels sales of dogs without completely lying ourwardly.
MORE INF: During the coarse of the converstion MR. Roberty Hoffmeyer could not answer any of the following questions.
1, What year was the GSPCA founded? He did not know that it was founded in 1937.
2. He did not know how or why the black color is acceptable in show confirmation in UKC but not AKC. Very simply when the club was founded in 1937 there were no blacks in the U.S. However the UKC is international and uses the international standard which not only allows black but also tan markings are ok as well
I could go no and on but it appeared that he knew very little about things a president of an organization should know. In fact the only thing he seemed to know is what things he heard from others who also may have not known factual information.
This man should not be allowed to hold and office of PRESIDENT and who slanders reputable breeders NOT HAVING any first hand information about.
