I call out to all USA citizens to be aware and do not purchase General Mills products. I ate one of their taco shells and ended it ended up breaking my tooth. This will be a start of a campaign against General Mills Old El Paso because this happened in September and I still have the issue not resolved. I was treated as if I was a liar!! I have been checked by the FBI and hold a current card with the Private investigators of Nevada. I have a Texas notary current as well and you have to have a background check as well. I filed a complaint with the company and months went by. No regular contact was ever followed up on properly. Jean Keaton work, wait, sat on my file and treated me with I am a liar from the very beginning. Every time I called I got a message she was on vacation!! No wonder nothing ever was taken care of. I complained and complained. I needed my tooth fixed because of the damage that was caused. Jean did not respond to e-mails I left. She did not care one bit. She told me that I needed proof that the tooth was good from a previous dentist. I found records and they wanted to charge $5.00 for them. Jane Keaton decided she did not want to pay for the records to be sent to her to prove I had good teeth. She made the decision not to order records, Jane Keaton finagled everything and still had no compassion that I have been in pain since this happened and that it could turn absent. She did care about being on every vacation and time off for ever excuse in the handbook. I e-mailed to get someone else to handle my case but that did not happen. I wanted to get a supervisor or a manager and get Jane Keaton off her never work to my tooth fixed. I finally spoke with her and told her I have 2 witnesses when this happened and they were never contacted. I supplied pictures and witnesses information and phone #'s. Nothing was done! She finally agreed to let me see a dentist. I went to see teamsters dental. I finally had a bias opinion from a doctor of density. He stated that because of the incident with the taco shell and damage it can turn into a bigger problem if not taken care of. The sent the records right away and I found out was given an incorrect address from Jean Keaton which took longer for General Mills to receive the records. I still was leaving messages for updates and nothing was taking place. I even left a message for anyone else to help me out. Jean just ignored any response. I received on phone call stated the she did not receive the documents form the dentist. That whole fiasco created by Jane Keaton took over a month to correct the address after already sent out the first time. I then was sent another letter still not being contacted by anyone and Jean Keaton on vacation again. The letter read that I was denied to have this tooth repaired. It made me sick to my stomach. Jean Keaton also said that there was a check in this envelope to pay the dentist I have seen. There was no check to pay for the bill!! Liar!!!! Jane Keaton, I have the letter!! I will keep this for my proof of how I have been treated this time trying to get my tooth fixed. I have all my e-mails with no responses except they would be forwarded to Jean and I begged for someone else to help me out. A Manager Please I typed and nothing from anyone else. I do not know if there is other out there with the same experiences with this company like mine but I will advertise against everything General Mills Old El Paso stands for with having a company representative treat me in such a fashion as to be considerably criminal!!!   I will work on this every day, week, and weekend and notify everyone I come into contact with. I had no idea General Mills has such low standards with quality control as to cause injury an do nothing about the damage caused. OSHA will also be notified and I do hope with my speaking out, this will never happen to anyone else. I am involved in fund raising and will continue this quest with everyone I meet. I do not know what else to say, the truth is the truth. I would entertain follow from an executive with your company to get any feedback on what neglect I have experienced at the hands of your employees that are supposed to do their job professionally, not to consider one a liar from the start.  I cannot even give one star on my rating at this time. Looking forward to getting a response if that is possible. My tooth is still hurting, throbbing, sensitive and not fixed.

After this letter went out and months later the damage is still not fixed and no responce in one week. Will continue to post this horrific experiance allong with the others I saw on Rip Off Alert.

 Its unfortunate but the HAVE to assume you are lying. Given that the American Consumer will find ANYONE else to pay for THEIR problems. With ALL the frivolous lawsuits that you see. With all the fake social media posts. The human creature is a lying, shady, disrespectful,thieving creature. How can you NOT expect a fight? A rock in your taco I doubt, but I have had a hard piece of corn damage a tooth. You MAY have all those credentials but theres one that is missing. PHYSICS!!!!!! What it "breaks" down to is that the piece of corn was bitten onto in such a way that it causes a stress fracture from the force. GM/ElPaso could not foresee this issue ahead of time. Yes this issue occured when you bit down into a taco, but GM couldnt know this would happen.

They can only do what they are LEGALLY allowed to do. You can campaign all you like but what happen to you was not done with intent to cause you harm. Your tooth just happen to fracture eating corn, thats all. THEY did not FORCE the taco in your mouth. Until you can PROVE that this incident occured and that it WAS caused by their product, they will continue to fight you. Why?? Because once again the consumer will lie and cheat and say ANYTHING to get someone else to pay for their problems. Until you can prove your claim its your word against theirs and they will just let YOU run your mouth and not admit anything.

My Girlfreind was eating at a subway and was enjoying a meatball sub when she bit into a meatball and broke her tooth on a piece of bone. It was unpleasant. It was painful. The only reason she got taken care of was that the incident happend at a Subway shop and she immediatly spit out the bone and the broken tooth. They eventually denied her claim due to the fact that a stress fracture is part of an underlaying issue with her teeth. GM/ElPaso may be taking a similar stand about YOUR teeth. Obviously your teeth are not 100% perfect and as such factors such as what you drink on a daily basis and how well you take care of your teeth tend to factor into their viewpoint.

I would tell you to retain a lawyer, but thats going to end up costing you. With out proof your case is basically circumstancial and no lawyer is going to want to run with a case they cannot win/make money on. You may need to pay for the dentist to fix your tooth and then try and take them to small claims court. The good part is that if your filing a small claims case, they have to send someone to represent them. If the travel costs are too much they MAY just offer to settle.
