It is not standard practice in the industry to teach a customer how to rebuild the engine as part of the sale of an engine rebuild kit. This is not something that can be done with an 'instruction sheet'. Books have been written on the subject. A retail customer should not buy an engine rebuild kit from GEX or any parts store or rebuilder if they have no experience rebuilding an automotive, or in particular a VW engine. If you do not know the case align bore size or the cam size prior to ordering and are guessing at it, there will likely be a failure. We do offer complete turnkey engines for customers that have no rebuilding experience. Larry N. Dawson Pres GEX International

GEX is in my eyes, a company that stands behind there work. I am a engine builder there and i see warranty moters come in, and they are striped down to the bone and every part is inspected, so they can figure out the problem and then they fix it. i do not own a vw but my next car will be a vw and when i go to buy my engine i will make sure i buy it from GEX. GEX has a very good warranty. I have no reson to lie.
