gigwalk.com Nothing more than a scam. Internet
I signed up for Gigwalk a while ago to try and make a few extra bucks while experiencing some interesting new things in the process. It really seemed like a win-win. Well, I have yet to be paid for a single one of my "Gigs". I've repeatedly asked for a reason, I got no reply. I asked for ANYTHING... I got no reply. From Gigwalk or the "customers" I was doing the work for. Interestingly, every single company seemed to find flaws in my work, even though all instructions were followed precisely as given. If there was a problem- too bad. I was on my own. The companies give HORRIBLE instructions and this has caused me to end up spending money out of my own pocket to try and get the job done right. I reported as much and, of course, never heard anything back. So I have not been paid, I've been ignored by the companies as well as Gigwalk, and I even spent my own money to try and do a good job, thinking I'd make at least part of it back.
This is nothing short of a scam.
