In March 2003 I received a phone call from Global Financial offering a credit card with a balance of $2500 for a one time fee of $221.95. However, I did not have the money at that time. Therefore, I asked them to please wait until April 1. By doing the transaction that way, it would allow me time to take the money from my budget and put it into the account. I put the money into the account and it was withdrawn on the exact date we had agreed upon. I then called the next day to make sure everything was ok. I was assured that everything was going well. I called yet again to check and make sure everything was alright and was again assured that everything was going well. In May, I again called and was told the company had gone out of business. I asked the person what was going to be done about the circumstances. I asked what all I needed to do. She told me that she had all of my account information and that she did not need anything else, it would all be handled. I was told that repayment would be made around June 18. I waited until today to call again and ask why the account had not been set straight. I was then informed that the money would not be refunded because the account was no longer valid. I was told to dispute it through my financial institute and try to get the money back through them. Maegan @ First American told me that my money would not be refunded and she could not help me anymore. However, in May, First American told me that everything was taken care of. The sad thing about this whole ordeal is that I am a single mother, that has 2 jobs and receives no child support nor any assistance from any government entity. I work hard for my money and I know that I was taken advantage of. I hope these people can sleep at night knowing they took away from my children to appease their greediness.

I just checked my checking account this morning and First American came through. MY $221.95 IS BACK IN MY ACCOUNT. If it had not been for RIP-OFF REPORT I would have never been able to get the information that lead me to First American Payment Processing and help getting my money back. Thank you for being here and thank you all of you who have helped with your posts. Before I say yes again I will ckeck here first. Again, if you have not sent your info to First American do so fast before the money runs out. Good luck all.

I just spoke with First American. The Global Financial funds have been released and they are starting the process. If you have faxed them your information they are presently going through those faxes and we should have our money back in a few days. I told the gentleman I spoke with that I would call back in a few days just to make sure they got my fax as I let things go to long with Global and got screwed. He said it was no problem and he understood. They would have more info for me by then. If you haven't faxed them your information yet, DO IT NOW.
