Global Financial ripoff con artist fake ripoff, do not answer phone #'s given Atlanta Georgia
I am writing this letter because I have been taken for quite a ride....
I was called on my cell phone from a company called Global Finacial with a great CC offer for me exclusivly. They said that they got my name from the company that I had recently filed my divorce through!! (I used an on-line service to keep the attorney fees down) I was sceptical about the call at first and then the gentleman on the line told me that all of my informatin would be verified though a National Verification Center an dthat my call would be recorded fro safety.
His bait was a $2500.00 balance with 0% interest for the life of the card and no annual fees but a one-time fee to process the card of $221.95. I did not bite yet and was ready to say "No thank-you", then he said that he understood many people, in my situation of "not-so-good" credit would not be able to afford such a payment. He then offered me $500 in groceries, $100 in gas & 100 rolls of film to compensate for the one-time fee up front.
I asked could I call him back and he said that the lines would be busy all day from this promotion and that I may miss my chance on rebuilding my credit. Of course a person in my situation, with bad credit, took the bait hook, line and sinker. He asked me for some personal information and I said that I would only give him the required information over the recorded line and he was alright with that.
I then called an 800 number and was prompted by another gentleman on the line to give my personal bank info, address, phone number & social security number. I asked him several questions on the line and was given all of the information I requested. I have the name of the CC rep that called me, his phone number, the Natuonal Verification Center rep #, his phone number, and the CS number..... all worth *!#$.... No-one answers these numbers.
After my conversation with them, I was still sceptical and called back to cancel the whole charade, this is when the reality set in that I was taken for a SUCKER. No one has ever answered the numbers I was given, and my secure recording of my transaction is in someone else's tape player....
I was scammed and I am so sorry that I ever agreed to the nice man to get my life back in order with their companies assistance. Watch-out, I have three kids and am a single mother who could not afford to see that money fly away without a trace. I am still trying to pull myself out of the hole Global Financial left me in....
