I was called In December about a special credit card offer. I'm 19, and thought I could build credit and be well on my way in life. I just moved out, so I don't have much money and I'm trying to make it by myself without the help of my sisters (both of my parents have passed).

I agreed to the $221.95 and now I'm screwed. The amount was debited on Jan.14, but I called a couple days afterward and asked that the card be cancelled. I was told I had to send the package (free gas, film, groceries) and it would be refunded. I've never seen any money yet. I called the company (Global Financial) many times and was told things like, "We show your request, call back tomorrow. That's when we write checks" or even after that I heard, "I don't see that you've returned your package" after arguing and telling her I was told that it had been the day before, she finally, magically saw it.

I was told it would be there on certain days, but never recieved it. I called First American (480-785-2262) but the lady, Melissa, was rude today when I called because she promised it would be in the bank Monday when I called her Friday. Another lady told me the money had been processed, it was the bank's problem now. Her name was Shannon. The bank hasn't seen the deposit. So now what? I have called an attorney and plan to press charges against both companies.
