Global Payments Check Services service OMEGA MEATS uses for their NON SUFFICIENT FUNDS ripoff Chicago Illinois
I purchased by check $290.00 worth of products from Omega Meats out of East Ridge, Tn. I misfigured my check book and the check bounced over being a few dollars short. I admit yes it was my fault and I am not disagreeing to that matter. As soon as I realized that this had happened, I called Omega Meats. They were suppose to send someone to pickup cash money to cover this (this was per a phone conversation I had with the manager).
So off to the ATM I went to get the $310.00. Which would again be troublesome, as Omega never came a picked up the money, GLOBAL then redeposited the check via debit which of course bounced again due to me withdrawing the funds .. caused me to be charged $32.00 NSF fee.
I recently recieved a letter a month after this happens telling me that the check was redeposited (well duh I realized that when it got me for $32.00 more.) But that I still owed them (being GLOBAL) $20.00. (This letter was dated 9/28/2005). Well today (10/10/05) around 4pm they call my house and speak to my husband, telling him they are going to sue me over this $20.00.
I would gladly pay it but the only payment stub they sent was for credit cards and I be danged if I will give them that after the way they screwed me the last time around. I tried calling them tonight when I got home, but all I got was a busy signal. I think that if they want this $20.00, they need to give me the $32.00 back they cost me for redepositing this check.

I finally got a hold of them. FINALLY! I asked the person that answered if I could send a money order..she said YES. I told her I had already been screwed over once and she had no response..obviously they do this alot. But its took care of.
