This is a pre-paid phone scam that seemed legit and had potential for generating a good income from home from the amount of work and time you put into it. The initial presentation in Jan 2005, was on TV and the concept seemed to be a good one and the sales pitch, eventhough it was a soft sale and no one forced you into doing anything, the rep Lisa Colacurcio Cohan seemed friendly and answered all my questions with a sense of confidence.

Still not convinced to invest a tidy some of money, $15,000, I did some research into the pre-paid phone market and found it to be an up and coming market with the potential for huge growth. I asked lisa for some references and she seemed more that happy to supply me some names they were:

Frank DiMezza, CA 562-822-0505

Debbie Stubbs, MO 417-293-3352

Joel & Christ Cruzo, NC 561-842-1918

All seemed happy with the program but thought they could be doing better. I thought this was interesting that none raved about the program and each had something different and it seemed unrehearsed. So I took the plunge.

At first everything seemed okay and communication with Nancy my sales rep, it was frequent and friendly. About two weeks into the program and seeing some of the locations she was scouting I commented that the potential of these locations was horrible and I sent a list of locations to her and asked if she could work on them.

A couple of days later a man called and introduced himself as Frank Guagliardo and told me of this great deal in the works with Wal-Mart. Well that got my attention and we continued the conversation until it came up to a commitment on my part for another six locations for the reduced rate of another $15,000. Well the hairs stood up on the back of my neck and I knew then this was a rip-off, but I still held onto the belief that I was too careful and decided to hold fast and declined his generous offer.

This is when things changed around completely. Nancy suddenly left for personal reasons and my new rep Jeremy Weiss was just out and out rude and condesending. It was already 3 months into the program and nothing was happening. I excercised my rights in the purchase order in section 3 where it stated I could cancel if no substancial operation was not achieved in 90 days. I notified Global Resources that I wanted to break the contract and recieved back a notification that wording was misinterpreted and they had the obligation to get me up and started in 120 days of the contract.

After 145 days I notified Global Resources again that I wanted to break the contract. This time I got back some story that they were having some equipment problems because of the merger between ATT-Wireless and Cingular. I've been periodiclally calling Andrea the customer rep @ 800-595-7331 x263 without any success or satisfaction.

Today I am going to make my final appeal asking for the money back and I know it will go unanswered. Was thinking of taking it to the American Arbitation Assoc, but that will cost another $750 or is this a rip-off also. Stuck here in limbo and I don't know where to turn. Can anyone help!!

Do you have what it takes to go down and get your money back? You know what I'm talking about.

If I was in your shoes, that's what I'd be asking myself. You know what you will have to do. This ain't poker night with the boys. You won't be able to run a little scam and win your money back like Robert Redford. You're going to have to go down and do whatever it takes. Alright, alright, pal. I've had enough. Please. I have some money in my house. It's in the bedroom closet. Take what you want. I don't care. Now, can you get me a doctor? I think you punctured my lung. I can taste the blood. What other choice do you have? I don't think a nasty email is going to do it here. And you will get old and gray waiting for them to get religion or do the right thing. Is there any law enforcement officer or group that is willing and able to do the work for you? I didn't think so. So, there it is. The cards have been dealt. Call or fold.

Greg, Two of the so called references you listed were given to me as well. They are fake. All references given by Global Resources are fake. I suggest you read though the postings here on Ripoff Report. You will get alot of info. I recently posted the important steps you need to take to help the Federal Prosecution and the lawsuit for restitution by the Florida Dept Of Agriculture.I think arbitration is a waste of time & money. My guess is someone at Global Resources suggested it. You need to face the reality that Global Resources is a total scam. Anything short of court victory will not pry the money out of their thieving fingers. I will be posting more info about a class action case I'm trying to get started in the near future.
