I received payment for the hours worked with Global Resources last week.
I received a call today from Anthony the president of Global, he was very concerned about the non-payment issue. He indicated he would do an investigation and assured me that appropriate actions would be taken.
After talking to Anthony, I believe the problems were just a misunderstanding and I would work for Global Resources in the future.

Below is the email transcript between myself and Global resources: The posting by Pete is absolutely correct. Why should it be removed from Rip Off report when it is the truth! If you notice below they claimed to have mailed me a check and then weeks later ask for paperwork. Judge for yourself. They will not answer my emails or return calls. I have worked for Global Resources on the Chase project and was always paid promptly. Yes, locations did sometimes change for me too, but as Donna stated, that type of project going off hours just goes that way. It's part of the game. I fully endorse Global Resources as a past employee.

My response to this ill conceived response: I was told by one 'Chief (I.E. too many chiefs and not enough competent people on the same page was the real issue here) that I was to come to work at one time ("we don't need you to come in early"), and when I got there, I was questioned as to why I did not come in early!! What is there for Donna to contest here? Should I have recorded ever conversation with every clown from her company that contradicted each situation? Why would I pass up an easy $15 per hour? The supervisor on the job said that they just stood around for two hours and got paid; the people that were working on the computers systems software were having issues, so we could not do our part of the job, till their end was fixed. Me not being there saved them $30 that Donna can spend on reading comprehension classes. Donna: "This was a very large project (over 1,000 people) which had many changes which came from the end client -- many times last minute as will happen with projects of this magnitude. All of this work took place after hours - the idea being that it would not conflict with full time jobs or other commitments the technicians may have had during the day - a common practice with deployments of this size." " (AND THIS RELATES TO YOU NOT BEING ABLE TO REALIZE I SENT YOU ALL THE DOCUMENTS THAT YOU NEEDED TO MAIL MY CHECK OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER?? I THINK NOT.) This still in no way explains how Donna can not seem to decipher her own companies paperwork, and realize that I had done everything on my end to get paid. It took her boss to figure that out. Nor does it explain that with so many different people 'in charge', a complete lack of communication on their end was the issue; I completed the job the way I was supposed to, and once again, filled out, and sent (6 + times) said required paperwork. Donna's lame excuses and half truths in no way got my check to me in a timely manner. It took well over a month to get the check. I spent more time filling out complaint forms, emailing Donna (ONE OF THE MANY DONNA RELATED ISSUES WAS THE FACT THAT SHE SEEMED TO HAVE ADMITTED TO NOT KNOWING MY EMAIL ADDRESS, EVEN THOUGH BEFORE THE JOB STARTED SHE EMAILED ME 5-6 TIMES. HER MEMORY GOT BAD WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY ME FOR THE JOB THAT I DID) the same documents over and over (reading comprehension issues on her part. Don't make the paper work so wordy and technical, if the VP can't seem to figure it out.) than the original job was worth. I should have charged them for the hours of re-sending them the same info, and everything else it took just to get a dime out of these group of knuckleheads. Many of these technical outsourcing groups pull this on 'fly by night ' jobs of this nature. They try to get out of paying you, much like the computer rebate form companies do, by making the forms (and making so many to complete) in a way so as it is open to their opinion (which was clearly the case with Donna) if the paperwork was filled out right, or if all of it was handed in. Its the corporate way to cut manpower costs = try to find as many reasons not to pay people, so said company can take that which is owed to the worker, and transfer it into their account as profit. It took her boss to realize I was ready to have the labor board go after them, because I had proved that I held up my end of the paperwork, etc. ANOTHER ONE OF DONNA'S LEGLESS FOOT TO STAND ON RESPONSES THAT DOES NOT EVEN RELATE TO THE REAL ISSUE AT HAND (WHICH IS HER LACK OF COMPETENCE IN KNOWING HER OWN COMPANIES PAPERWORK; WHICH IS TO SAY THAT IF YOU ASK FOR PAPERWORK #1, #2, #3, #4; & Donna can't open and decipher the four email attachments showing said paperwork requested, she is incompetent and someone else should be handling such issues). What does this have to to with the real issue? Donna: "If this individual felt so uncomfortable with the parameters (WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, I HAD AN ISSUE OF GETTING TWO DIFFERENT START TIMES FROM FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE = THATS YOUR COMPANIES ISSUE, NOT MINE) of the project or any changes that were made, he should not have accepted the job in the first place. However, had he made us aware of his concerns (WHAT WAS THE CONCERN? THE CONCERN WAS: "CAN YOU GET 4-5 FIVE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN CHARGE TO AGREE ON A START TIME? IS IT {FOR EXAMPLE} NOON, OR 4PM? AND IF IT IS ONE OR THE OTHER, CAN YOU STICK WITH THAT START TIME, AND NOT CHANGE IT WITHOUT CONTACTING ME?) at the time he had them, we certainly would have addressed them. Arriving two hours (DONNA, YOU ARE MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS THAT COULD GET YOU A SLANDER SUITE. I WAS ON TIME, DEPENDING ON WHICH CLOWN FROM GLOBAL THAT YOU TALK TO. This was a very large project (over 1,000 people) which had many changes which came from the end client -- many times last minute as will happen with projects of this magnitude. All of this work took place after hours - the idea being that it would not conflict with full time jobs or other commitments the technicians may have had during the day - a common practice with deployments of this size. If this individual felt so uncomfortable with the parameters of the project or any changes that were made, he should not have accepted the job in the first place. However, had he made us aware of his concerns at the time he had them, we certainly would have addressed them. Arriving two hours late certainly did not make a good impression by this individual on anyone - most importantly our client. The complaints in his report are random, incoherent and unsubstantiated. This is one complaint of the thousands of technicians we have hired and paid for this and other similar projects. He absolutely was paid. We would appreciate having this ill-conceived, immature, and maligning rant removed from your website.

This is not criticism nor praise. It is a fair assesment. I worked on the Chase project in KY. I did not receive my first check so I sent a few emails. I received a phone call from Anthony - President of the company. He said he wanted to get any issue resolved and asked me if I sent in the contractor's agreement and forms. Sure enough, there it was in an old email from Frank. I filed and emailed it in and called back in two days later. THAT WAS MY OWN ERROR. Anthony said they received the paperwork and was geting approval to pay us 4 hours for the day we could not do the work (that was 2 weeks ago) and add that to the chedck for the day we completed the reschedule. He said the total will be mailed July 18th (2007). I am going to be very fair. I got my emails and phone calls answered and responded to, surprisingly by the president himself. So far, all is reasonable. I will respond with the status a week after the 18th when the checks shoud be mailed.
