Glory Chihuahuas Mandi Johnston Glory Chihuahuas Dog mill Azle Texas
I do NOT recommend doing business with Glory Chihuahuas or EVER using Mandi Johnston as a so called "breeder.” These dogs live in the absolute WORST living conditions. I spoke with her on several occasions and read several reviews which were very positive, unfortunately that’s all a lie. I sent the deposit to Mandi for a chihuahua and from the time she picked up the deposit there was absolutely no communication.
I drove 6 hours to Azle from Lubbock to the address she provided to find numerous housing. I was upset and furious when calling, texting and facebooking her for a housing number. I waited over 45 minutes and after meeting a kind lady at the mailboxes she told me where she lived. I was promised a shot record and health history and received NOTHING.
I walked up to the household and there was a strong odor of pee and poop. There was also, poop all on the front porch everywhere. I knocked on the door and at least 30 dogs barking, an older gentleman answered which was her father. I told him who I was and he brought me the female I purchased. This chihuahua had NEVER EVER been held in her life at 4 months old.
I have had chihuahuas for the past 14 years I know their personalities. This dog was EXTREMELY mistreated and obviously been in a VERY traumatic household I seriously doubt she has ever actually been loved on. Her temperament is something I’ve NEVER EVER seen in a chihuahua she’s scared of humans and of everything . She’s a flier when you pick her up.
This meaning her arms and legs are straight out. She won’t come to you at all she runs. I drove straight to Lubbock and met my vet he checked her out. She’s in good health, has a class 3 bite unknown being a "true” chihuahua. The vet assured me she is a chihuahua but has very rare traits about her.( I’m wondering if she’s been cross bred.) She is healthy and not adjusting well as a week I have had her.
Why would this beautiful dog not be purchased by now? I am thankful I took her out of the situation but want to make others aware of the terrible living situations and of your future purchases.
