Desperate times call for desperate measures. I almost became the victim of an international scam, had I not honored my instincts. I met Godson Nwigwe at a Starbucks in Los Angeles at Detroit and Wilshire in Miracle Mile.Godson is from Nigeria, which I have since learned is a red alarm, sorry, but I have been reading up on Nigerian con artists, and they really are amazing.
Somehow he knew I was looking for work and the psychological battle began. I revealed to him that I worked in entertainment and he took that bit of information and ran. He asked if I was interested in helping his ministry, productionwise, as he was about to launch a televised ministry Billy Graham style.This also seemed suspicious. I took his email address and decided to look him up on the internet and found several listings under his name, many non-profit organizations in

I demanded he take me to the offices anyway and give me a contract for the position we negotiated, he said the offices would be finished that week. I drove by the building to verify this information, and yes, it was under construction. That day, he also agreed to give me a contract and we played phone tag all day. Finally, he asked to meet me late at night, 9 PM, at a Starbucks. Very weird, but I decided it could be a way to smoke him out.
I recruited a male friend of mine to accompany me to see what this mans true intentions were; we all know they were no good. Godson gave me the location of the Starbucks where we would meet (Venice and Sepulveda) and it turned out to be a dark street corner in Culver City, by several seedy looking hotels, and no Starbucks, but a Subway. Yes, I know, I should not have gone, and should have double checked. Looking back, I think it was more dangerous than originally suspected.
Upon arrival, I demanded my contract, asked him why we were meeting at the corner so late, AFTER he finished his phone conversation with someone in his native tongue..he got on the phone when he saw my male friend. We believe he called off the van that was going to abduct me. Godson was either drunk or on drugs, not the man I met, who was well groomed and articulate and seemed intelligent. This time he seemed high and not so godly.
He managed to maintain a conversation with my friend while keeping a faade. I was very upset realizing that his intentions were bad, luckily my friend pulled me out of the situation. I was definitely going to be a member of the white slave market or something worse. When I got back into my car, chills and goose bumps ran through my body, signs that I averted great danger.
Godson had the audacity to leave me a message on my voice mail the following day, to lure me back into whatever he wanted. At this point I decided to verify with the building managers if there were offices under his name at their locations, taken from information off his business cards, stationary, and online- the managers verified that there were no offices under construction under his name, ministry name or, something even remotely close. I dialed all the phone numbers taken from his business card and his stationary, he even had a 1-800 prayer line, and all of them were not working, or a different business, or a fax machine.
I know he is running something very illegitimate; he seemed to need to trust me with his money. I went to the police and they basically scolded me for being so foolish to believe a scam or for being taken. I did not go back home for a whole week, you see, I had my entire address on my resume, another lesson learned. Godson is definitely not a son of God. Be careful out there.I write this and am embarrassed for being so trusting and stupid, I am highly educated, and a person of faith, and people can prey upon this. Very sad. Be careful out there.

This man als ripped my family off. He was living in NJ years ago and rented from our family and never paid a cent. He lived rent free and used our some as his 'office'. It took us over a year to evict him. We finally showed up at the home, confronted his security offices, and got verbal with him. He made continued promises that he was waiting on his money, and continued displays of his company's earnings, etc. I burned a lot of his papers, but took photos of others to show how brainwashed and pathetic this leech is.
He prays to God for money (on paper) and answers himself that 'today' his $50 Mil are granted, etc.
He has witten plans to spread his company all over the world.
His given name is "Godson Chinjiuba" birthdate December 25, 1959. He believes he really is God's son and is acting on his service (most likely because of his birthdaty).

Place of birth is listed as Umuakpara
In the process he is living on a cloud and rippng us al off. He owes my family over $20, 000

I am so sorry to hear of all your sad and scary traumatic stories with Godsen Nwigwe. I would like to help get law enforcement involved. I think this is the same man who ripped off my very trusting and kind elderly friend (80 yrs old).
He was approached by an African man at Costco in Torrance and the man asked him for a ride to BHills so that he could go to the bank and cash a large sum of money in form of a check from his father in Sierra Leonne or Nigeria (I forgot which one).
My friend described him as being dark, 6'0 - 6'3, strong, and intimidating in size, 50 yrs old (as my friend is only 5'8, 150 lbs). The story is a little different than all of yours but still a con involving an alleged pastor friend of his, who they ended up picking up inLomita, outside of a church, in my friends expensive Mercedes.
My friend told them he was too tired to drive to BH. They asked him "how can we trust you?" so my friend (who is getting senile, I guess) drove them to his bank to take out $50,000 so he can show them he is trustworthy. Luckily, the banker saw that he was all frazzled and nervous and did not give him any money but the bad news is they convinced him to drive them to his house in PV.
There they robbed him of ALOT OF GOLD COINS, he had in his house.
He just told me about this three weeks ago and this happened in December, 2010. They took the coins, called a friend and a black Mercedes pulled up and took them away. My friend came out of his senile coma and drove after them but did not find them.
He then called police and gave his report and provided details of his face for sketch artist. The police came back with several photos but all the men were too young. This guy was 50 yrs old.
I really want to help my friend get his retirement money back and help him. I have alot of experience in fraud investigations and have contacts with all levels of law enforcement. Can someone pls post his picture so I can try and find this guy and put his LOSER, RAPIST, CON ARTIST butt in jail for GOOD!!!

I know where you can find him. I would like to give you all his personal information and all his where abouts. I know where he lives, and who is protecting him and helping him.
I sent all this information and his pictures to the DA , but nothing has been done.
I honestly dont understand how could our officials let him get away with this. I am sure he is a dangerous criminal who has fooled so many innocent victims and got their lifetime savings or somehow stole their identity or other crimes.
I believe people like this criminal should be followed and resolved.
I am sure if the officials spend a little time and follow this bastered for a day or two, they will find so much valuable information about the unsolved crimes.
But the problem is that our officials dont care. They spend thousands of dollars and hours and hours of investigation on stupid things, but they dont follow up on criminals like Godson.
If you ever like to pay him a visit, I have all his hiding places and addresses and even phone number which you can easily track him down.
I WISHED SOMEBODY PAYED BACK THIS JERK FOR ALL HE HAS DONE.

He will add your name to new corporations that he forms non-profit and otherwise. you do not need to sign the document you just have to live in the state. So he gets peoples personal information and files new corporations and put your name as a secretary or ceo etc.
I was a victim of his years ago then I started gettin mail from all sorts of agencies stateing that I was an owner on his corp.
If you would like to exchange more info drop me an email...........if you have any old phone numbers etc on him I would really like to search him out.
I did speak to his father in Nigeria....he is not a king he is a police officer. Boy can I tell you some stories. He prays on realtors, contractors and investors and thats how hes been living for the past 20 years. He has no drivers license cause his visa expired quite some time ago.
