Alex Hudson, Google Max or Max Trade and Repair in Desoto Tx is a liar and a thief. My company is an LLC registered since 2010 in the state of Texas. Since April 21, 2010 we have operated under a logo with the acronym SMB SEO. Our distinctive logo has a blue S, red E, and orange O with arrow coming out of the O. The O is also a search magnifying glass. My company has been a member of the BBB since approx 2011. I have been in business for over 5 years serving customers in North Texas under my brand. I am a national speaker of local search and Linkbuilding at industry conferences and happen to be overly transparent with my business to customers and colleagues. A few months ago one of my industry friends mentioned that they saw my logo on another SEO website for Dallas searches. When o contacted Alex he didn't seem to care or do anything about stealing my intellectual property and brand insignia. I also recently discovered that he is tarnishing my potential opportunities by providing false pretense digital marketing services under the guise of a money back guarantee. His former customers will never call me and my brand is being associated with his company and this causes marketplace confusion. In fact, I have learned that nobody receives money back when his unGoogle-approved tactics fail. Does he know about Penguin and Panda? Does he attend DFWSEM meetings (which I have been a Board of Directors Member of for many many years.) He doesn't concentrate on brand segmentation, voice, and holistic SEO that integrates a brands value, voice, and business goals. If he is so brazen to steal another well know SEOs property and claim it as his own, do you question whether "Google" Max will provide white hat SEO services or attempt to rank, bank, and tank you with questionable tactics that no longer work? I am sure I am opening up a hornets nest from some low-life who has nothing better to do than tarnish my company with negative SEO, but I am not going to sit here and pay hard earned money that my loyal clients give me on some petty thief and liar. Whatever you do, Do not hire this guy. His price list by keyword is a joke. Do companies have so much ignorance about digital marketing and providing a better customer experience with less friction on the buying process that they would hire a hack like this? I seriously hope you don't. One last thing, when I attempted to get resolution and ask him to stop using my logo for his business he blew me off. The last thing I wanted to do was contact my lawyer or file a ROR.

Google Max SEO is a joke

Sorry about the previous ripoff report - it was blank as I just signed up for this website and did not know how to properly navigate it.

I hate Google Max SEO. They hired me to write a  legal petition they're levying against a dental practice in AZ. I was hired via Upwork---a freelancing website. "Alex" wrote on the job posting to contact him via his cell number, which I'm assuming was for a quick turnaround on his gig.

I called Alex; he called back. We exchanged a few texts talking about my work ethic and the stipulations of the project. We agreed on around $60 for the project. Within 2 days of hearing about this gig, I delivered the first draft of the legal petition to Alex via an emailed pdf.

He texts me that he is getting prepared for a trip out of town that will last for 30 days after I ask him to 1) initiate my Upwork contract formally 2) review my 1st draft. He did neither. He also specifically states he would text within 1-2 days of that text, which was sent on June 5th. Cue June 12th, I hear nothing. I've been emailing him and texting him several times to no avail when I get fed up on June 12th and call him out on his lack of professionalism.

I text him my thoughts, and he

1) berates me for using unconventional communication means and says that is the reason why I wasn't paid although he is the one who explicitly stated in his job posting to contact him in that manner

2) calls me "God" and patronizes me with names like "Allah", "Jesus", etc. because I again call him out on his lack of professionalism.

3) At this point I'm mad. He then implies there's something wrong with me because I'm chasing down $60 of payment; actually, he essentially "dined and dashed" with my services, which took effort and a good couple of hours to complete. I could have been at the beach instead of writing his stupid petition! Moreover, I pointed out that OTHER people who have worked with him cited SIMILAR deficiencies in his professional work manner on Upwork.

4) I'm launching a formal case/complaint against him via the freelancing website. Here's to no more jokes like Alex Hudson.
