Graham Motor Company in Dallas Georgia will sell you a vehicle with known issues and open recalls and not do anything to help with repairs. I purchased a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from them 3 weeks ago and have driven it less than 1,000 miles. The check engine light came on in less than 300 miles (about how long it takes for OBD Readiness).

I work for a auto dealer myself so I brought it through my service department to have the check engine light checked out. The code was a transmission code and a cylinder 8 misfire and random misfire. I went ahead and replaced the plugs and the coil for cylinder 8 and had a oil change done while I was at it. We discovered at that time that the engine was sludged. I was told about a reflash available for the transmission so I contacted dodge and they informed me that there is a reflash available but not for the issue I am currently having and that in addition to that, there is a open recall on the vehicle for the ignition switch.

Since replacing the plugs and coil, I drove it a few hundred more miles as it is my only means of transportation. It again fouled the plug and triggered the check engine light. The technician ran a leak down test and found that the head gasket is blown which is causing the plugs to foul out. In addition to that, He found codes for the engine po300 - random misfire and po308 cyl 8 misfire and transmission codes po731 - gear 1 incorrect ratio, po1790 - fault immediately after shift and po876 trans temp sensor pressure switch failure. The vehicle will not shift into drive, only into low gear. The heater core is also leaking into the floorboard as well.

I contacted the gentlemen who sold me the vehicle and he told me I would have to talk with Nathan, the owners son. Nathan told me he would talk with his father and let me know. 2 weeks later after trying every day, I was finally able to contact Nathan. He said that because I had changed the oil and replaced the plugs and coil, they will not do anything about the issues I am having.

If you need a new vehicle, spare yourself the same experience I am having and go elsewhere.
