D, Grant America is obviously another one of those "government grant" scams that say for a "small" fee (namely the $249) you will be guaranteed a grant from the government. This one even goes so far as to say the grant does not need to be paid back, and you will receive an extra $500. This is definitely a scam. BTW, I will be down your way next week (moved from there in '03 and sis still lives on Marco). Hope you guys have dried out by then.

Dont be so harsh. You should be thanking him. He is warning others of this potential rip off. Not every one sees the red flags until its too late and for those that frequent this site they will know ahead of time to proceed with caution when dealing with this. I salute this person for the report and thank them for doing their american duty of looking out for one another by coming here and warning us. This site is for Rip off reports. Weather you got ripped off or not is irrelevant as long as you are exposing a potential one for others to look out for. Too often I see people warn people ahead of time on this site only to be yelled at with things like "you werent ripped off, stop wasting our time" You people read this thing like its a tabloid, only wishing to read the nice and juicy rip off stories. Honestly...

How were YOU ripped off? Did you send in the $249.00? Did you recieve $500.00 back? If you said yes to BOTH, by my math you are $251.00 AHEAD in the deal. If you said NO to the first question, then you were NOT ripped off since you are NOT out any money.
