I am a freelance telemarketer from the Philippines and they've offered me to do telemarketing sales job for them.They claim to be bokers of Gas and Electricity supplier like EON,British Gas and many more.We agreed a $6 pr hour basis regardless of whether I hit the goal or not.
I've worked for a total of 33 hours which is a total of $198. At first they were supported to teach me on their sales strategies then I decided to stop after discovering that their way of telemarketing is not right. They wanted me to call out businesses and pretend that I'm an agent from eon or whoever company the cklients were with so that I can get phish informations like end date contract so they can switch them to their offer even though clients have renewed their contract with their provide.
Now they don't want to pay me $198 which I've worked for considering that I've exerted effort, invested time, electricity and internet. They said that if I want to be paid I should re-join them and force myself to get them leads that they can switch.
I've been in this field for quite long and "Switching" sales is the most unethical thing that a sales agent can do. What I can't take is that they think the hours, effort, time, electricity and internet I've spent with them is just a joke.
They told me that they've been established for quite long yet when I checked their history they've only been operating for 3 months. They go by the name of Gravity Concepts Limited and YK marketing and such names as Akhber, Yousaf and some staff name as Zene. Readers most especially the people who are in the same field of career please be aware because they really are decieving and will reassure you will get paid only to find out they are scammers.

I have been working for 3 months now in this company and I can say that I have the best clients. We are all getting paid generously. What Christine claimed that she has been scammed is a complete lie. We are a performance based process but if the clients will see the effort that you put in your work, they will be more than happy to give your weol deserved compensation. The people that she mentioned, including our 2 clients, treat us as a family. There is no employee-employer relationship. We can even make fun of our clients. That is how comfortable we are with them. I will end my career with YK Marketing. I will have my retirement with them. That is how I love this company. So to you Christine, it is not proper to bad mouth your previous employers if it was you who was not able to do the job properly.
