Great Canadian Oil Change Their employee broke the dipstick and parts entered. The engine is now dieseling, knocking, and no longer runs far without stalling. Their manager offered to replace my car's fuel filter but did not hear anything further. He went down the steps to "below", and came back up a minutes later. Surrey British Columbia

As you know, a picture is worth a thousand words. A video of this experience, which is worth 10,000 words, is on th Internet, titled "Experience and Review, Great Canadian Oil Change, Motor Oil, Valvoline". Briefly, an employee broke the dipstick and parts entered the engine. There is also doubt about the quality and quantity of the "semi-synthetic" oil recommended which I purchased based on representations by their employees. The engine is now dieseling, knocking, and no longer runs far without stalling. My video has "before" and "after" scantool readings, as well as the receipt. The manager was so embarassed that I was given a $12 discount without my asking. Their people were quite warm and pleasant and offered advice as to where to buy Punjabi samosas in the area. One more item: Their manager offered to replace my car's fuel filter. I agreed to his suggestion, but did not hear anything further, so I do't know if he did/didn't change the fuel filter, which he said was under the car. He went down the steps to "below", and came back up a minutes later.
