I signed up for a Great Expectations membership that I was pressured into. 24 hours later, I called GE and cancelled the membership. I realized I didn't want the membership. They refuse to give me my $1844.16 back.

I plan to take them to the small claims court and want to know if I will get my money back?

I would like to handout slips of paper providing the web addresses of Great-expectations-sucks.com & the anti-Great Expectations site to prospective members that are outside the Bellevue office on upcoming Saturdays. I would like to know if this would be legal?

I would like to see Great Expectations out of Business.

The owners of GE are Johnny Meriggi, 214 389-7600, 14180 Dallas Parkway Suite 1800, Dallas. John Meriggi is an auto racer. The other owner is Paul Ziter.

I am suing a company in Newton Massachusetts, on the same principle called forfeiture! If it works... I will let the WORLD KNOW IT, as Victory did here and someone else! These bastards need to be takne down or at least put on notice, for a lot of their scamming and heartless treatments they do when unsuspecting people walk into their liars with an honest sense of intention that they slyly convince you is going to be satsified at their hodge podge of candidates, that are essentiall all scammed people that linger around the cess pool of the same kind of people that take your money!! Take Victory's advise and go after these bastards! Hell, its been 5 years since I had the contract and essentially the principle is the same... I paid the money, wanted out, did NOTHING with them, and now it is time to see if the Massachusetts court is at all tolerant of the forfeiture ruling!

I sued that same group and got my money back

If you mailed them a request to give you your money back, I suggest you sue them. I know I won against them here in Las Vegas (same group owns the LV GE). I also know that a man in WA state sucessfully sued them. He was in the same situation, cxled within 24 hours. He mailed them a certified letter (so did I) and I used that as proof when I went to court. Even though Nevada doesn't have a 3 day right of recession, I won anyway because the court considered it a forfeiture. Bottom line, if you have documentation proving you cancelled within 3 days, sue them. I think you can get your money back! Even if they laugh at you (thats what they did here in LV) let them know you know that 2 people successfully sued them and so will you!
