Purchased new scooter from Great Sports 2/15/2012.  No dealers available, ordered over internet. Promised over the phone (sales rep. Craig) that "if there was any problem they would replace the scooter". Delived 3/7/2012. I did minor assemble of front wheel and set in steering columb. Put in recommended new gas and it ran for a minute or so then quit. Never has run again. Contacted Great Sports (Matt) and he had me make standard checks of gas flow, spark, using starter fluid, etc.  No help. He informed me that they don't warentee the scooter will run, just replace parts. He had me call the Taotao Rep. (David) who had me repeat those and other checks with no help. David had me call Matt back to order a carborator and electric unit to replace.

When parts arrived took the scooter to an experienced motorcycle repair shop (at my expense) and they cheked it out total and replaced the parts- no help.  I call GS back and Matt said he would call the shop and help- never did. I had the shop call him and he went through the standard checks with the technician which he had already done. Said he would call back- didn't.  I had the shop call the manufactures rep (David). He went over the same tests and checks and said he would email them the repair. He sent a checklist of the same checks. No help. The shop feels there is a major manufacturing error and had me pick it up after a couple months of wasting time playing tag with GS. I tried calling over and over. Told Matt not work there any more. Told sale rep. not work there. Talked  Kyle and he was to get back with me. Finally Kyle responded that I had to take the scooter (NEW Scooter) to another shop and have them pull the entire motor and send it to them for repair. I refused before I spent more trying to repair this thing than I paid for it.

My warranty which they will not even consider to ever honor is the verbal promise before ordering; the "CUSTOMER SAITISFACTION GUARANTEE" written on my sales receipt; and from the web site of this scooter still "Every single Scooter comes with a warranty that is fully backed leaving you with NO RISK unvolved". I live on Social Security and this was to be the best gift for my son ever. Worst purchase by me from the worst company ever heard of.
