My husband and I moved to Missouri with great intentions to buy a home. My parents who had already purchased their home through Greenleaf convinced us of the legitimate "Real Estate" Agency.

My parents moved to Las Vegas and left my sister and myself to pay the mortgage that was already in default for late payments. We paid over $3,000.00 in late fee charges alone within 4 months. As soon as we were caught up I talked to my sister about moving and getting our OWN house through Greenleaf.

The following month we paid our move-in plus a $300.00 fee that they said was for some guys to spread seeds on the lawn and check the home if everything was working properly. Which we later found was actually suppose to be for homeowner dues for the community we lived in.

While living in the house there was a bad moldy smell coming from the air vents. So I had it checked out by professionals who said the whole main unit was moldy and it would cost me over $1,000.00 to remove and repair it. I called Greenleaf about it and they said we would have to take care of anything that was wrong with the house because they sold the house to us "as is".

Right around christmas of 2008 another real estate agent came to our home and left a note on our door. The letter said that the owner of our home has just recently found out what was going on and had no idea that anyone was even living in the house. That Greenleaf had told him the house was vacant for two years. By now we had only lived there 1 year. He wanted to take over and have us pay him directly. That would of meant that everything we paid to Greenleaf already was unaccounted for. We would be starting all over from the first principal. If we had it like that that wouldn't have been a problem, but we didn't.

By this time I was boiling because we had put so much time and money into this house and to find out that it wasn't getting us anywhere just made me even more angry. We didn't do any upgrades to the house thank God, but the mortgage we paid for that house "I think" was more than we could chew. All our hopes, plans and dreams shot out the door.

My husbands a truck driver and things were already getting bad for truckers in january. So with all the "BS" going on and the economy crunch we packed up and left the state of Missouri all together. We had no where else to go. My husband and I have 5 children. We didn't know what to tell them about our house that we held so high and worshiped our accomplishment almost everyday for. They still ask about it til this day.

I want them to pay for what they did. Everyone involved in the whole scam.
