Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, COMPLETELY FRADULENT, WE ARE WORKING WITH AUTHORITIES TO GET OUR MONEY BACK.  We were contacted by a telemarkerter named Sam, who explained our eligibility to participtate in a government program (HAMP) for Loan Modification. He said he would pass our information onto a loan officer who would be contacting us regarding our Loan.  From there we were contacted by a person named Dale Connor who called us every Tuesday, asking us specifics and came back with a pay schedule, claiming he had a special connection with the wholesale department of our Loan company, which overrided the Loss Mitigation Department.  He gained our trust by contacting us every Tuesday explaining what our savings would be and how we could come out of our short sale and modify permanently.  When we finally committed that we were going to try this, He gave us the total we had to pay, and an extremely significant savings on our mortgage.  I always felt in the back of my mind that this was too good to be true. I kept questioning him about the lack of communication from our mortgage company, he kept explaining about the backlog they had and that we would receive something shortly. We post-dated three checks, 2 in December and 1 in January, totalling 4895, sent them certified mail.  He called to let us know he received the checks.  He then put us in touch with processor (Gia and Michelle) who requested the information that they claimed they passed on to the bank and that we were assured that what they quoted us we would receive in an offer from the bank.  They kept asking us for information and in the meantime the bank was sending us contradictory information about our mortgage.  But they kept assuring us that this is normal procedure. The more I think about this I feel that there must be some connection with our bank, because everything they asked us for was passed on to the  bank.  And finally we did receive an offer from the bank, based on what we sent to Greentree.  Everyone that Is filing a complaint, I am curious as to what Loan company you are with for your mortgage.  With the total amount of money that we all have been scammed out of, I am sure this qualifies for a class-action lawsuit, we should ban together to pursue this.   I am going to folllow the advice of filing complaints with all the suggested places and would like to keep in touch.

Guys, any updates on this issue?

I am also a victim who was scammed for $4395.00 and the cheater disappeared and stopped calling me as soon as money was extracted from my account. We all want to be to gather in this otherwise we won't be able to do anything becasue for this amount, we can't efford to hire an attorney he know s it. Let us collectively come up with an approach and decide what exactly we want to do -

First of all I would like to mention that Segregated and dispersed victims is his major strength. first we need to respond to this and we all need to come togather. I am sure there are 100s of people out there throughout USA but here we are only a bunch of people making sound. the question is how can we get to gather? and how we can colsoidate and gather all victims on one stage so that it becomes our strength.

There are multiple threads on this fraud and I think we should first consolidate all of them in one thread. Agreed?

few steps to start with - I would suggest

1) Let us have this one as a meeting ground for this issue. Make sure we communicate to all other victims on other threads to gather here on this thread. and then when everyone joins this thread, remove other threads.

2) let us all search for other links, websites, social media groups and findout other victims and gather them on this common ground.

One this has happened, we can actively start taking this company down instead of all individual efforts.

Just read all the complaints on GREENTREE FINANCIAL GROUP.  The same people call us and the same thing happened.  We lost $3,800.  We are working with our bank (US Bank)  to restore our mortgage before a foreclosure happens.  Thank you VEEPJ for being so detailed in your report.  When I read it, it sounded like I wrote it.  This happened to us in April.  I am all for a class action lawsuit.  I can't afford a lawyer myself, I've already looked into it.  I have kept in contact with Newport Beach Detectives and the Arizona Attorney Generals office.  They told me that it would probably take about a year of so to find these guys, but they are actively trying to help us.  They are waiting for more complaints to be filed.  The detectives have spoken to the CA attorney generals office and the district attorney.  We have filed complaints with the Arizona and California authorities, BBB, and the FBI. I have not called the CA Bureau of Real Estate yet but I will as of this date.

Let's all of us stick together and keep in contact so we can get justice.

We, too, were scammed the exact same way in which you were but for more money :(  I'd be interested in pursuing a class action law suit so please keep me posted if anything develops.

We are getting back on track with our mortgage company and hope to have things straightened out soon.

Obviously, he is very good at what he does but like you said bells were going off but he made everything right.

I was also taken by this company, please do the following file a police report with your area police department.  I have several people working my case as well as investigators in CA if you would like their contact here is the

information.  Contact BBB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Consumer Protection Division, your State Attorney General, I also contacted Wendy Law Enforcement Newport Beach CA 949-644-3717 make the complaints so they do something with these people to shut them down.  Also contact the CA Bureau of Real Estate right now they have my complaint but are looking for more you must fill out online and mail to the Los Angels Office.

Found out it is illegal in the state of CA to take money up front from people this law was passed 2 years ago according to an investigator I spoke with.

Contact whom ever you can I have and I will not stop!
