I bot a print done by an artist. I did not check pricing.

I was led to believe it was a "very good price" for a signed and numbered piece by this artist.

It turns out all the "signatures" I see on the internet of this identical piece of art have identical signatures - impossible to occur. I subsequently found out I was charged app. 60% more than the retail cost on any number of websites.

When contacting the seller, he tells me those for sale for less, are "rejects, and have 'smudges' or other imperfections."

If they are "rejects," the artist would not "sign and number them."

I believe almost nothing this man says.

Beware when dealing with him.

I subsequently checked the BBB for him and his company, and found a large number of complaints.

Whille I may not have been a careful buyer, this man is a rip-off seller of art work with identical signatures.

Joseph Siegman purchased a Mr. Brainwash limited edition print which was signed and numbered by the artist with his thumb print on the back.  Mr. Siegman never asked if he was getting the best worldwide price for the artwork he purchased.  The only thing he asked was to ship to another address of his nephew.  The artwork is completely legitimate with signature, number and thumb print from Mr. Brainwash.  The artwork was new and in excellent condition.  We are in possession of all the paperwork to establish purchase history, provenance and artists publishing history.  Mr. Siegman originally did negotiate a slighly lower price from our listed online asking price and sent a check for payment.  Upon cashing the check approximately one week later we shipped the artwork to the nephew which was delivery two days later.  Only one week after receipt of the artwork did Mr. Siegman start complaining about the price he paid and legitimacy of the artwork.  After handwalking him to where the signature was and the number in the edition did he stop complaining.  His nephew even called us looking for another copy of the print which we offered him number 78.  He was looking for a very low number and we were not able to provide him such a low numbered copy.  Our attorney will take care of the rest for the slanderous statements Joseph Siegman has published on this public forum to slander and damage the reputation of this company.
