Guthy-Renker Vita Power automatic refill and charge without authorization Palm Desert California
Our daughter purchased Proactive online while she was away at school and somehow, unknown to her, got sucked into this Vita Power thing. They sent the vitamins and charged our credit card 33.94 two months in a row - they showed up as "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" on our credit card statement. I was willing to let that go, since we did receive a box of vitamins and I figured she just messed up. But now we have received another box and there's another 33.94 charge on our credit card labeled "1 of 2". It took about an hour talking to a nitwit named Troy at Vita-Power to get an address to return the vitamins (somewhere in NC) and a promise that our credit card will be credited the 33.94 as soon as they receive the package and that no further packages would be sent. He would give me no reference/return number or anyway of identifying the package as ours - I of course enclosed a very specific letter with the package with a demand that they cease & desist sending us these vitamins. I immediately called our credit card company to dispute the charge - they seemed all too familiar with our story! We have requested that they not allow any further charges to our card from Vita Power. We'll see what happens. I am returning the package today- certified mail, return receipt.
