Guthy Renker Rip-off for Proactive products from Guthy Renker Des Moines Iowa
This report is about how Guthy Renker deals with it's coustomers when they return items and want a credit card refund. In order to get a credit on your credit card you will have to:
1- Send product back using Certified Mail, which requires a signature upon delivery.
2- Wait for GR to send you a "Affidavid" which you must fill out, get
Notarized, and return to them Certified Mail.
3- Wait for GR to "process" the credit card refund.
The fact that GR requires a returning item to be sent to them Certified Mail (which has a tracking number) and requires someone at their end to sign for the package; and then also requires the customer to complete an Affadavid stating that they returned the item is not only redundant but outrageous. I had a copy of the USPS tracking information showing delivery to them. One of their employees actually signed for the delivery of the returned item. Why is an Affadivid necessary? All this for a $23.00 credit refund. I will never purchase any item from them ever againl. They are Scam artists and look for any reason to not give a customer a refund.
Don't but anything thru Guthy Renker. Once they get your credit card number there is no telling what they will do to keep charging you and never refund a dime, even after you return the item.
