Gwinnett Place Ford Drove Vehicle for 17 days and had signed no paperwork!! ripoff Duluth Georgia
I am writing this because I never knew that you could drive a vehicle for 17 days without ever signing anything. It all started on Saturday March, 6. I went to Gwinnett Place ford to purchase a new truck. I was told that the banks were closed but that based on my credit I would have my pmt under 400 a month. Well a week went bye and I had to call them and then they told me that I needed a cosigner. After telling me at first that I could purchase the car on my own. So I then asked my step father to cosign and he aggreed to so I told the dealership that he would, and they said that they would send the paperwork to him because he lived out of state. Another week went by and nothing no calls no paperwork NOTHING!!! So I called them again and they assured me that it would be taken care of and I spoke to Herb the so called sales manager who was in a rush to speak with me and told me he would call me right back, that was Sat the 20th. He never called back. My stepfather traveled here that weekend to sign the papers and no one returned his call. So on Monday the 22 We got a call saying for me to come in and sign the paperwork and it would all be setteled and that the reason that it had taken so long is that the man who initally did the finance paperwork had no longer worked there. So When I finally went back to Gwinnett Ford on March 22 they told me they wanted me to pay 459 a month for 72 months for a 15,000 dollar vehicle. My response was give me my original car back and I will be contacting Clark howard etc and there response was "We sell 600 a month and some fall through the cracks, so don't think you'll be the 1st one to call"!!!!! If you are going to buy a vehicle I would strongly NOT reccomend Gwinnett Place Ford. They say they are selling new cars but they should be selling used. DONT BUY FROM HERE!!
