Half Price Tour Tickets Wrong date on my online reservation cost me the full price of the ticket all over again Miami Beach, Florida
Wrong date on my reservation cost me the full price of the ticket all over again.
On November 24th I made a reservation for me and my son to go from Miami to Key West for the 28th of November, after payment completed, the website showed me a ticket which we printed. The day before the trip the 27th, we called the main office phone number also shown on the website 305.444.0707 to confirm our trip. When I gave them my confirmation number we found out that the reservation was done with a wrong date and we were supposed to travel the 26th.
The reservation was mistakenly done for the wrong date, so I tried to convince them on moving my reservation to the real day we wanted to do the tour to key west and they denied me to reschedule because they say the seats where reserved for me and couldnt sell those seats to anybody else unless we notify a cancellation 24 hours before the trip. So it was too late for a cancellation and refund, so we tried to get a discount to buy the tickets again, they said that the online price we paid is the lowest they can go on all tours and refused to do a further discount on my second purchase even when we didnt use the tickets the first time.

We remember this situation and we apologize for this situation. We dont see why we are responsible or guilty for a reservation done wrong, and real fact is, that after the customer (Merry Thomson) re-booked the tour to Key West, we compensated with free Snorkeling at Key West for 2 people. So we did give a bonus just by the fact that we understand we are all humans and we can make mistakes; both tickets for snorkeling in Key West were redeemed on November28th, 2011 as we can see in our records.
Next time, please, more attention on any future reservation with us or any other company and you can avoid these sad experiences.
