Harris Silver and Sons Harris Silvers Scrap yard Place likes to price gouge for the area they are the only scrap dealers in Belvidere and they tell you if you go to Rockford you will spend more on gas even though they are 40 percent higher. Belvidere Illinois
This report is for Harris Silvers Belvidere IL scrap yard they will pay you 40 percent less then what is offered for scrap in the Rockford area because they are the only scrap dealer in Belvidere when you tell them the prices in Rockford that all the other scrap yards are they will tell you it will cost more in gas to drive to Rockford then to just sell them the scrap everyone in town that sells scrap knows they are a rip off, and they have continued this practice for years, when there was competion in town by one of there relatives this was not an issue now that they are the only scrap dealers in town they price gouge and I hope that they will get into trouble for this by the authorities.
