Hartford Auto Club, Premium MegaSaver Unauthorized transaction fraudulent ripoff business mistreated and ripped off Miami Florida
Hartford Auto Club (HAC) illegally withdrew funds in the amount of $99 from our checking account on July 26, 2002, and August 26, 2002. These unauthorized transactions caused havoc in our account, causing us to loose an additional $200 in NSF funds and overdraft fees.
We contacted our bank after the first withdrawl, but unfortunately they are unable to stop these automatic withdrawls. We have filed a complaint with our bank and plan to call our State attorneys office.
In addition to this, their sister company, Premium Megasaver (PMS) also illegally withdrew funds both times as well in the amount of $54.90, this is another $109.80 that we lost from our account! We never responded t the mail offers we received from this company, we shredded them with the rest of the junk mail offers we often receive. Something has to be done to stop this from happening to innocent people who cannot afford to throw away this kind of money!
We have tried to contact both of these companies, and just like everyone else we have been put off, hung up on, and denied any information.
