I ordered a carton of cigarettes from havecigs.com. They delivered about 6 weeks late on my first order. I ordered again as they were cheap, but I have yet to see that second order. I ordered it in October and was told in November and December that they were on their way and I'd have to wait 45 days until they were delivered. It's now been almost 3 months and I've been contacting them every day via their e-mail address but haven't gotten a response since Jan. 14th. Every e-mail between October and now have been lies. Now, no one even responds. I call their 866.824.3244 number and it's eternally busy. I have a phone number of one employee but now that phone just rings twice and disconnects. I went to their web site www.havecigs.com and it reads that they are sorry their web site is down and they are unable to take an order. My feeling is that they got busted and are in trouble for not sending out cartons and keeping our money. Luckily, I am only out one carton. I'm sure there's others out there who are out many many more. As of today, 1/20/05 - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

I've been saving a bundle buying my smokes online for the past 3 years. The rule of thumb is to purchase from a company that is in the USA and not one from overseas or you risk customs not passing the package on to you. Read through websites of any business you are going to deal with carefully. In this case, make sure the company is owned and operated by the various Indian tribes. They are the ones able to sell cheaper because there is no tax invovled at the state level. Be aware laws have changed and the government has pressured all the credit card companies into refusing to knowingly let anyone buy smokes online these days, in an attempt to get us all to pay triple the cost locally I guess. Some of the online companies sell other merchandise along with smokes though, so are still able to take credit cards. We pay via money order and COD (for an extra 7 bucks). Also some states are not allowing UPS to ship smokes any longer, so the only method to ship is now US mail. Our cost for that jumped from 7 bucks to 20 bucks when the law went into effect in our state. Even with it going up, we save a fortune. I call their 800 number, order what I want for the month (cheaper for me to buy a month at a time) and the box will be delivered to my door in 3 or 4 days. Search Google to find Indian companies in the USA selling smokes cheaper, then cross reference back to this site and do a search on their name to make sure they aren't listed and you should be able to get with a good company that will get them to you quickly and at a reasonable cost.

I am sorry you all have lost your money with this cig site, but believe me, its not the "end of the world" .. you will live. Loosing a few bucks is just part of life, if all i had to worry about is $50 or $100 dollars going down the drain, i would be happy. I have lost a few thousand dollars to people who i trusted ... but you learn... i have sued and lost in court to people who "LIED UNDER OATH" just to win there case, it makes you so mad you could kill... but you dont, you just learn... Take this as lessons.. and move on. I would suggest you look at buying from sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
