Approached by two man in a red van, license plate BXSL 383 Red Dodge in Central Etobicoke area (in parking lot.) Claimed they were doing repairs at Boston Pizza and had left over electronics that were not installed that they needed to sell. They were also selling 4k tv's. PRoduced purchase order from a HDC Theater with phone number 647-457-2395. Claimed MSRP was over 2,900$ canadian, showed a (what I found out later) to be a fake Macleans magazine add for the Nolyn Acoustics N70 Home Theatre system. Scammed me out of 420$. They play the tune very well, saying things like "hope you are not rich because I feel bad for giving you such a good deal" and you better use this and not resell it because I can't believ i'm selling it for this little. As it turns out, this is not considered fraud because the system actually works but is worth like 50$ in total with defective parts. The inside of the box had no wires in it but was professionally packaged.

Pretty hilarious to see you convoluting the story to fit your narrative. They claimed the equipment was given to them and they needed to sell it off right away. The document in the photo was uses as proof to convince me they weren't stolen. Learn how to read before making unsubstantiated claims.

You tried to buy speakers that they told you were stolen from their boss/customer and you now complain that you were ripped off because they werent stolen expensive speakers but cheap junk worth what you paid .
