You need to find out if this particular place receives any Federal or State funding and report them. If you have anything in writing, include your son's medical information, and send copies with your report. Request an investigation into just who is getting service dogs. Contact this place again if they did not give you information in writing as to why they were removing the dog. If the dog was gaining weight, that could have easily been handled with a little common sense. I would question why they wouldn't have given you a chance to correct the problem. Ask the state if there is any program where your son could get his own companion animal and have him trained. If so, find out if your son qualifies. It's close to the holidays. Contact the media and let them know how your son has been treated.
