I bought a Dogue de Bordeaux puppy from Heather Searle or Leaming witch ever name she is going by now. The pup was to be a show prospect but he is not just some of the things that are wrong is Kinked tail, nose to long, legs to long and hip problems and the bigest thing is his AKC paper work is wrong and the pedigree is a fake.
I am very lucky that is all that is wrong right now their are others out there aswell that have had horrible things wrong with their pups very sick pups.
I have contacted her many times and have only gotten very nasty e-mails back.
This breeder does not care about the letters she is producing.

The rebuttal that Miss Heather Searle sent is not the truth and I have copies of all her letters she sent to me the only thing she said was send the dog back and that I would not have done, I would not have sent the pup back to such a unethical breeder. I love my boy even if he is not the show dog that I purchased.

Janice Kotarba needs to return the dog to us (allowing us to verify it is in fact the dog we sold her) and we will be happy to refund her money in full. We have made this offer to her previously, she would not accept this. I'm very sorry Janice is so unhappy with her dog. We sure love him regardless and I'm more than willing to do whatever we need to, in order to make sure he's taken good care of and has a loving home. Janice Kotarba purchased this Dogue de Bordeaux puppy from us (Nov, 2004). She received a 1 year written health guarantee. Her puppy was shipped to her in Houston, Texas. She received the puppy, and raved about how much she loved him. 8 months later, Janice Kotarba sent an angry email, (in June 2005), complaining of the critique her dog received at a national dog show. Even though, his winning shows or not was ever guaranteed, I offered her a full refund for his return. Janice did not wish to take us up on this offer. The AKC/FSS stands for American Kennel Club Foundation Stock Service. Janice's puppy was registered AKC/FSS and she received these papers and entered the dog in her name. Janice has reported (even here), our dogs have "forged" or "fake" pedigrees. She has also reported that she received a letter from the AKC giving her this information. In fact, this is not true at all and you can call the AKC at 919-233-9767 to verify. We do not have "fake" pedigrees with the AKC/FSS. The mother of this puppy had been previously registered FIC. The AKC/FSS did not accept the pedigree for the mom, but did accept her individually, thus the pedigree is "incomplete" but not "fake" and certainly not forged. If Janice Kotarba has a hip problem in her dog (we've never been told about this) she's more than welcome to return him for a full refund as I've offered before based on the one show critique. My full name/home phone number/address are posted on this site with inaccurate information. I was never notified. I'm not sure allowing people to print and make public this kind of misinformation about an individual is legal. I'm pretty sure that's considered slander/libel especially when the report is not accurate (or verified in any way by the publisher) and is meant to ruin the reputation of the individual. Apparently, I'm going to need to consult an attorney regarding this. I don't feel this is fair, and according to this system one can post whatever they want about whoever. Regardless, Janice needs to return the dog for her full refund. If that's not enough, I have no idea how to help.
