Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My Hernando Mitsubishi experience started out great. The salesmen were personable and helpful. They were patient and helped me pick out what I wanted.

After that everything went down hill. During financing they would only say what my payments would be and not the selling price. That question kept be advoided and rerouted, which they were very good at. Before signing the papers I was questioning the numbers on my trade in and total selling price of the vehicle I was buying. After asking several questions and being led around about this is how they have to do it to make all the numbers work out, the finance manager informed me that he has been doing this forever and knows what he's doing. He continued by belittling me by informing me that if I didn't understand now, that "he could explian it until he was blue in the face and I still wouldn't understand."

I know know that at that point I should have walked out, but this was the first experience of buying a car alone and just felt too humiliated to walk out.

Anyways I ended up paying thousands over what we had agreed upon and now own a car that has a book value of $10,000.00 less than I owe on it.

Bottom line - Make sure you know AND understand what you are paying for a vehichle. Don't go on the assumption of good monthly payments means a good deal. And watch out for a balloon payment at the end! Get up and walk out if they don't explain everything to your satisfaction. I know I will next time!

IN RESPONDING TO CRYSTAL'S ALLOGATIONS,I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT THE SELLING PRICE, TRADE ALLOWANCES, INTREST RATES, ETC,ETC. ARE ALL CLEARLY LEGABLE AND ISOLATED IN SEPERATE BOXES IN WHATS CALLED A FLORIDA LAW CONTRACT. THESE CONTRACTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE USED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA.A DEALER CAN NOT PUT A PERSON ON A CONTRACT THAT IS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD. IF A PERSON IS OVER 18 YEARS OLD AND WALKS INTO A CAR DEALERSHIP,SHOPS AND NEGOTIATES A PRICE ON A AUTO AND THAN ENTERS THE BUSS. OFFICE AND IS GOING TO SIGN A CONTRACT, THEY CERTENLY SHOULD READ IT. I'M HAPPY TO ALSO ADD THAT THIS DEALERSHIP ALSO VIDEOS ALL TRANSACTIONS IN THE BUSS. OFFICE SO THAT WE CAN BE SURE ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE DONE COMPLETLY ABOVE BOARD. OUT OF 641 MITSUBISHI DEALERS IN THE U S A, WE CAME IN #2 IN UNITS. WE OBVIOUSLY DO NOT HOLD OUT FOR MUCH PROFIT PER UNIT. WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS AND A EXTREMLY HIGH REPEAT-REFERREL RATE. I DO REGRET THAT CRYSTAL FEELS THE WAY SHE DOES, AND WOULD ALWAYS FIND TIME FOR HER IF SHE WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK IN AND EXPLAIN ANY QUESTIONS SHE MIGHT HAVE. THANK YOU ,

It would be wise to go to a local credit union or bank

You should go to local credit union or bank and apply to refinance your loan so Mitsubishi will not make more money. Write to the Attorney General of Florida and to the Attorney General of the state that has your loan. Read about City Mitsubishi on this site, it shows what I did. Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America and their collection agency GC Services have not been agressive because of the tactics I used to expose them. Complain to the BBB it gets on the dealer's nerves even though they do very little against car dealers. Dealers do not like being complained about. Write to attorneys to see if they will take your case on a contigency basis.
