I GOT ZD8000 As a replacement notebook and it was a refrurbish model and as soon a get it there were alot of problems such as overheating. Then after 6 months later the computer starts shutting down. THE KEYBOARD SOMETIMES DOESN'T RESPOND. SOMETIMES HALF THE SCREEN IS DEAD.THE WIRELESS NOT RESPONSIVE. THE NOTEBOOK BEEPS REALLY LOUD WHEN I TURN IT ON.

I JUST WANT MY NOTEBOOK TO BE RAPAIRED SINCE SINCE THIS KNOWN ISSUE AND HP WON'T ADMIT IT. Customer service was as unknowledgeable.

I WAS TOLD DIFFERENT PRICES BY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN IT COMES TO REPAIRING THE NOTEBOOK. NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT MY PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND THIS IS WHAT IT HAS COME TO. PLEASE HELP.

I FILE A BBB REPORT AND I WAS CONTACTED BY HP AND THE INDIVIDUAL'S NAME WAS HARRY JEFFREY AND HE LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL. SO I CALLED HIM BACK THE NEXT DAY I TOLD HIM THE PROBLEMS WITH THE NOTEBOOK AND I GAVE HIM MY CASE NUMBER AND HE ASSURED THAT MY NOTEBOOK WILL REPAIRED FOR FREE AND ALSO HE WILL ADD TO MY NOTEBOOK 90 DAYS OF WARRANTY SINCE IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY. HE ALSO HE IS GOING TO SET UP A REPAIR AND HE IS GOING TO SEND ME A BOX. TODAY FEBRUARY 20TH HE LEFT ME A MESSAGE STATING I AM OUT OF WARRANTY AND I NEED TO PAY 600 DOLLARS TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR. I WILL HIM BACK BUT HE WASN'T THERE. HERE IS AN UPDATED LIST OF PROBLEMS WITH THE NOTEBOOK.

1. AS SOON AS YOU TURN IT ON IT BEEPS.

2. NEXT I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE 104 UNSUPPORTED WIRELESS NETWORK DEVICE DETECTED. SYSTEM HALTED. REMOVE DEVICE AND RESTART.

3. OVERHEATING. EVERY 30 MINS NOTEBOOKS TURN OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING.

4. WIRELESS PROBLEMS. IT WON'T CONNECT TO ANY NETWORK.

5. RANDOM REBOOTS WHENEVER IT WANTS TO.

6. SCREEN GOES BLACK DURING REBOOTS.

7. THERE ARE VERTICAL LINES ON THE SCREEN OFTEN. THERE IS ONE LINE A DAY.

8. THE KEYBOARD IS VERY SLOW OR LAGS AT TIMES WHEN YOU ARE TYPING.

9. THE BATTERY DOESN'T CHARGE.

10. THE MOUSE LAGS WHEN IT WANTS TO.

11. THE NOTEBOOK IS UNUSABLE.

HARRY JEFFREY FROM HP CASE MANAGER IS A LIER AND HE LIED TO ME WHEN HE PROMISED THAT MY NOTEBOOK WILL BE FIXED FOR ME FOR FREE AND ADD 90 DAYS WARRANTY TO IT. HE GOT MY HOPES UP FOR NOTHING. I HOPE ONE DAY SOMEONE WILL STAND UP TO HP AND SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH STOP TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY AND ALSO GET THOSE NOTEBOOKS RAPAIRED FOR FREE . AND I HOPE HP ADMITS THEIR PROBLEM AND AT LEAST APOLOGIZE OR REFUND US OUR MONEY. HERE IS WHAT I WANT EITHER THE NOTEBOOK BE RAPAIRED, REFUND FOR $1000 OR PRODUCT REPLACEMENT. my computer was gone for a month because the repair center was waiting for a motherboard part. once i received my notebook it was having same problems. i called my case manager again and i told him about the problem and finally i got a replacement notebook. i am so excited. it took forever to get to this point but i am glad i was patient. never give up. thank you ripoff report. bye hsn

I SPOKE WITH HARRY JEFFREY A CASE MANAGER FROM HP AFTER TALKING TO HIM ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND SHOWING HIM A DOCUMENTATION OF MY PROBLEM AND OTHER THINGS HE WAS ABLE TO SETUP A REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE. I AM WAITING FOR A BOX FROM HP. I WILL UPDATE THIS AS SOON AS I GET MY NOTEBOOK FROM THE REPAIR CENTER. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS.
