Holiday Management Group Ripoff Scam vacation Faxes sent to my workplace and unfortunately posted by friends Longwood Florida
Yep read any of the stories here and mine is the same. I went on vacation after having paid these creeps my upfront money. Ended up at the Travelodge hotel Maingate East(a Dump!) They had no info on me-- That was my first hint of a problem. Anyway They said they work with HMG for packages and just handed me tickets to disney after I told them what Parks I had agreed to. Here is where I think they are all in Cahoots!!
They never questioned me or HMG's role here. Then I went to a plush vacation area down the road and was put through 90 minutes of High pressure sales(No problem for me -thats kids stuff!) That was my part of the deal. I spent the next four days hoping I wouldn't get carried off with my family by the roaches in travelodge. We managed to have fun anyway... NOW after 6 months guess what I see on my Charge card?? A charge from travelodge for $126.00--Yea, The balance of what I paid to HMG That they never gave to travelodge--Well I called travelodge and said "Did you pursue HMG and take them to court?" the manager said "no.." I said "well why would you when you have some poor guys credit card number??" She said that my registration card has a small print section that says if they cant collect from the third party they can go after the card holder.
I think they are working together personally. At least that is what I told the florida department of consumer affairs. If I Had my chance to personally meet with this person, I could make him wish he never scammed a single person. In Fact next time I get a chance to stop by Longwood Fla --I WILL --look them up for a little visit...
