Home Guard Incoporated Egregious Failure to provide advertise services Livermore California
I purchased a VA home in August 2018, and had hired Home guard Incorporated for a Termites and Home Inspection for approval of my home loan to obtained a Mortgage for the asking purchasing price. However all the items was cleared for closing, certifying that there was no termites and all the plumbing, lights, air Conditioning and heating was all working properly and good to continue with the purchase from my seller and their Realtor agent. Thus I was excited like most new homeowners and got the keys to my new place. As of 3 weeks in of moving I was unable to turn on my heating or air Conditioning. I then called the Company Home Guard Incorporated, whom stated that I needed to hire an independent contractor for the heating and air which I did and it costs $130.00. To find out nothing worked before I moved in and the Home Inspection was not correct because the previous inspector could not access the roof ! Therefore the home units could not be inspected for an accurate report for a VA approved purchase. And it cost any where from $5,000 to $10,000 for a replacement unit. No further response from the Company.
