Homecomings sent me a letter saying that my home value could no longer support a line of credit. But if I wanted to challenge the decision I would have to get an appraisal from a company they recommended. Submit my paycheck documents like I was in modification or some kind of negotiation with them and call them if I had questions or concerns. Well Homecomings here I come!

First I am holding off calling while I complete my home work. Here is what I have found so far. In every state there is an OFFICE OF CORPORATIONS

In Cali.. It is headed by the Terminator and his crew. They have complaint forms that one can fill out and send after you have tried to negotiate and talk thru the situation. After you file. In four weeks the lender has to respond. If found guilty. They get in TROUBLE administratively, financially and can loose their right to practice in some states.

Also check and find the " Office of Thrift Supervision " You can file a complaint there. The Banks will respond.

What is the OCC?

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is a bureau of the United States Department of the Treasury. The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises more than 1,710 national banks and about 50 federal branches of foreign banks in the U.S. (as of December 31, 2007) and their operating subsidiaries to ensure a safe, sound and competitive national banking system that supports the citizens, communities and economy of the United States. The OCC also supervises federally licensed branches and agencies of foreign banks. The national banks fund the OCC through assessments paid by the banks based on their assets and fees they pay for special services.

Good Luck Keep fighting and never give up!
