In October 2005, I paid my Homecomings bill online. When I entered my atm card number in and hit submit, it told me it was denied. I had just gotten paid, so I knew it was not correct, and then remembered that I had a small limit still on my ATM card because it was new. So I proceeded to enter in my checking information. When I checked my bank account online a couple days later, both had come through, and made me have about $300 in Overdraft charges...what a mess!! When I called I got a "sorry charlie" attitude from them.

I then proceeded to put a stop payment on the check.

Not knowing that my bank keeps the stop payment amount on file for 6 months, I called and made my November payment...I was not doing it online again! The check was returned, and I did not find out until it had passed 30 days....so it screwed up my credit. They also charged me late fees and NSF fees.

We have had a bit of a rough time these past few months and since it says right on the statement, if you are having problems making your payment, please call us we may be able to assist. So I called in on June 1, 2006. I spoke with a lady named Liebe Wickstrom, who I explained the above to. She said she would give me a 4 month grace period to catch up where I would not be assessed late fees, and if indeed I was caught up in four months, the other fees would be dropped! Ok Cool. So when I called in today to set up payment, and mentioned that, they had NO CLUE!

She had not marked it in the system, and when they "supposedly" called her about it, she lied. So now I am stuck paying all the late fees and NSF fees that Homecomings should be eating. I am seriously thinking about tracking down the corporate numbers and raising a fuss, even if I have to drive to Dallas and go do it in person.

To top it off, the "help" they provide is some dude taking down all your bill info and telling you what you "should" have left at the end of each month. DUH! I can do that myself--it's called a BUDGET! Seriously people. I would LOVE to see this company come to an end! SOON!
