My fiance and I bought our home two years ago, and after a year of improving the home we had decided to refinance. We refinanced through a local company in the state of Michigan, and after a month our account was sold to Homecomings. We kept up on our payments and even sent some in early until my fiance lost his job in October of 2002. We contacted Homecomings to let them know of the situation, but they didn't care. Needless to say, we never saw any unemployment checks, so we were only living off of my income which isn't much. For six months he went without a job and no unemployment, and we got behind on our morgtage payments.

I had contacted Homecomings and had worked out a plan that would get us caught up, and keep us current on our account. A month later we get a letter in the mail saying our house is going into foreclosure. I contacted them once again, only for the man on the other line to tell me he had never heard of that plan before and had no clue what I was talking about.

Now we are putting the house up for sale, because we are so far behind we will never be able to catch up. But do you think I can get ahold of Homecomings, Nope. I call evry evening after I get home from work, and I sit on hold for sometimes hours on end only for the phone to be disconnected on me.

I do not want to sell my home, I am only 22 years old, and this was my dream. We put so much time and money and love into this home, that it is now priceless to me. I thought we had worked everything out with Homecomings, only to find out later that it was all a lie. And now I am losing my home....

I just hpoe that other people out there will read these stories, and find out the truth about these companies before they lose their dreams like I have.

I'm also having trouble with homecomings financial, I haven't a billing statement since May Ive called too many times to count, never could get thru been hung up on many times threaten them with the Better Busines Bureau nothing, and no one will refiance because it's that co. It'drives me crazy because i'm a stickler for keeping records of this importance. If anyone has any ideas of I can deal with this co. I would be very grateful. losing it in N.C.
