Homeworks Plus ripoff! Unauthorized credit card charge. Internet
Home Works Plus made an unauthorized charge to my Discover Card Account in the amount of $149.99. It was suppose to be for a membership to Deal Pass because I didn't cancel my membership within 30 days. I have never authorized the charge nor do I know anything about the membership. I obtained this information when I called the number associated with my credit card charge.
After talking with them and cancelling the membersip I immediately called back & verified that the membership was no longer active. I also contacted Discover & disputed the charge giving them the info that I obtained from Home Works Plus. I was very much surprised when I did a web search & found out numerous complaints on this website. So glad other consumers are speaking out. I also intend to find a complaint with the FTC.
