On 11/08/2015 I was in PA and bought a mix of 12 Hopkins snow brushes and brooms to give as gifts to family and friends when I got back home to New Jersey I found out that 6 of the 12 Hopkins snow brushes and snow brooms did not work they where DEFECTIVE or broken the buttons did not work to open and close the snow brushes or the black ring did not twist to open and close the snow brushes since I lived over 2 hours away from the store plus gas and tolls and time 4 hours round trip I bought them in PA I sent an e mail right away to HOPKINS on that Monday I got a reply from a tech service guy he wanted photos of the broken defective 6 snow brushes he was asking me so much to I would also like to verify that the address you listed is the physical address so that once I receive the pictures I thought it was very STRANGE because in my e mail I gavee him all my information with my full address I did not have a camera so I borrowed a camera to take photos of the Hopkins broken defectice cracked 6 snow brushes and snow brooms in a couple of days I sent him what he requested all my information photos and copys of the Tags on the products with the UPC codes and on top of the upc code was the model numbers below is his e mail
It was a nice e mail but that was it never heard from them again

I am sorry to hear of the trouble that you are having. I of course would like to assist you with this if you would allow me to do so. If possible could you take pictures of the products that you got that were defective as well as tell me which store you purchased these from? On the pictures if you could include the cracks/defects as well as the model #'s that should be located on the tag or near the UPC I would appreciate this. I would also like to verify that the address you listed is the physical address so that once I receive the pictures and verification on the counts of which units were defective we can get you replacement units shipped out. Again I apologize for the trouble and inconvenience that this is to you and hope to resolve this for you in a very timely manner.

THAT WAS THE LAST i HEARD FROM HOPKINS AFTER I DID EVERYTHING THEY ASK FOR PHOTOS OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT PHOTOS OF THE TAGS FROM THE PRODUCTS WITH THE UPC CODES AND MODEL NUMBERS
So I files a BBB complaint out of principal HOPKINS got 2 notices from the BBB about tthe complaint to date more then 30 days later Hopking IGNORED THE BBB COMPLINT AND i STILL NEVER HEARD FROM THEM EITHER I AM LOOKING FOR OTHER GOV AGENCYS TO FILE COMPLAINTS WITH on HOPKINS
the e mails was sent to them like 5 hours after the purchase of their products and even a WARRANTTY PRODUCTS ARE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY niether the BBB or Myself every Heard from HOPKINS again they never REPLACED THE 6 DEFECTIVE BROKEN HOPKINS /SUBZERO snow and ice tools PRODUCTS BOUGHT DEFECTIVE OR EVEN DID THEY REPLACE UNDER WARRANTTY I AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS DEFECTIVE/BROKEN PRODUCTS AND ABOUT THE COMPANY HOPKINS /SUBZERO snow and ice tools I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY A HOPKINS PRODUCT EVER AGAIN also every one I am telling will not buy their products either
we are now buying the same products made by other companys

BUT WHAT KIND OF COMPANY DOES NOT REPLY OR EVEN REPLY TO THE BBB I PAID CASH TO BUY THE PRODUCTS I AM NOT DRIVING 4 HOURS ROUND TRIP I DID SEND COMPLAINTS TO THE STORE I BOUGHT THEM IN TOO SO NOW I AM OUT JUST A FEW DOLLARS BUT IT IS ALL PRINCIPAL
