Hotels.com Hotels.Com is crooked Dallas, Texas
Hotels.Com is a crooked company. They advertise something knowing they will not fulfill their obligation. Hotels.Com is offering 1 free night stay, if you book through them for 10 nights. After 11 nights I called them and they said I had to wait 72 hrs. before I could get a free night. This is wrong, I called hotels.com before making any reservations to check qualifications and at first they were so rude they hung up on me. I emailed the complaint dept. (Penny M. my case # a000086262) and she said I could make reservations after I completed my 10 night with no strings attached. She also said that Hotels.com would send me a $50.00 gift cert. for the rudeness I received. I never did get the gift cert. It has been 2 months since conversation. She said I would get it it max. 6 weeks. Also Hotels.com said they would match prices on hotel rooms if I found one cheaper than their price. I made reservations for Jan. 22,2011 through hotels.com for $69.00. Upon arrival at Alexis Inn & Suites they had a special for $59.00. I called hotels.com to get a refund. They said that I was past the time aloted (whatever that meant) ripoff. I called to complain and they put me on hold for over 30 minutes before I hung up. They never was going to answer me. They will not respond to my emails. They ripped me off three times. No free night, no $50.00 gift card, no refund for finding cheaper rate. Hotels.Com is a scam stay away
